North Austin MUD #1 consists of a publicly elected Board of Directors that manages and controls all the affairs of the MUD.
These affairs are subject to supervision of Texas Commission of Environmental Quality.

The North Austin MUD #1 consists of the Rattan Creek neighborhood. The boundaries stretch from FM 620 on the north side to McNeil Road on the south. With an eastern border of Parmer Lane.
