Black Canyon and Marrero – June 9, 2022
A planned water outage will be conducted on June 9th beginning at 9am and lasting until approximately 2:30pm in order to replace three fire hydrants. Forty-one homes will be affected by the work and is largely due to the lack of valves in the area used to isolate the water system for repairs. Following the outage, a boil water advisory will be issued in accordance with TCEQ guidelines as a precaution for 24 hours. The advisory is customary after the water system is opened up for repairs. Once samples are taken on June 8th following the work, they will be analyzed and the advisory can be listed once clean samples are obtained.
